Former Power FC Player Malcolm Shaw Signs with Atletico Ottawa of the Canadian Premier League

Big Congratulations to Former Power FC Player and Current Power Soccer Coach Malcolm Shaw who has signed with Atletico Ottawa, the new expansion team that has joined the Canadian Premier League!


After finishing with Power FC's Senior Team, Malcolm went on to play on a scholarship for 4 years at Roberts Wesleyan College (NCAA) in Rochester N.Y. He was a prolific goal scorer for the Redhawks, contributing 27 goals in his 4 seasons with the school and leading the team in scoring in both his junior and senior years. In 2015, Shaw was named to the East Coast Conference's second All-Conference Team. In 2016 the National Soccer Coaches Association of America named him to its All-East Region All-American Third Team.

Most recently in 2019 he played for Assyriska IK in Sweeden. Shaw made 24 appearances for the Sweedish side in 2019, scoring five goals (eight including several Sweedish Cup appearances) adding four assists. He also banked 13 goals for the fourth-tier side Raslatts SK in 2018
