U6 Summer Camp

We wanted to send a quick note to say how impressed we were with the camp that our kids attended the past two weeks at Glendon College. Our son in particular had so much fun and his confidence and enjoyment playing soccer has dramatically improved. It seemed to be a really great balance of skill development and fun activities that kept even the youngest group engaged for a full week.

We would like to send a special thanks to Leticia, Connor, Mickey, Callum, Maria, and Luca for their fantastic coaching and for being great role models.

We will definitely sign up for more Power Soccer programs in the future!

March Break Camp

We decided to enrol Ethan in the March break program with Power FC because of the club’s good reputation.  Ethan loved it, he was so happy, he learned so many new skills and techniques during the one week. I would like to take this opportunity to extend my gratitude to all the coaches for their professionalism, patience and efforts. I wish there was enough time and hours in the day for Ethan to be part of the power play program but unfortunately, we have to pass on this opportunity.

Provided him with the chance to play at the University of Kentucky.

I have been meaning to send you an E-mail for some time now. I hope you and all at the Power family are doing well. Brock is in his Junior season at The University of Kentucky and as they say, it is going by quickly.  The University of Kentucky has been a great experience for him on the pitch and in the classroom (as it is supposed to be). He is taking Computer Engineering and has secured an internship with Morgan Stanley next summer in preparation for the next stage of his life. This is an opportunity we are certain he would not have had if he was not playing soccer at UK. The resources available for athletes is beyond anything we could imagine here in Canada. I wanted to thank you and the Power coaches for all you did for Brock in terms of training, encouragement and opportunities over his developmental years that helped provide him with the chance to play at UK. Playing the game the right way and developing his individual talent was always encouraged and I had felt that was far more important than winning at all costs at the younger ages. It paid off for Brock.

I’m constantly amazed at the amazing level of all the coaches

I just wanted to let you know how much fun our kid, Braeden, has been having this session in the Under 10 program on Thursdays at the City of Toronto venue. Braeden and all the kids are having a great time and you can really see the improvement in all of them. He's having a blast, getting better and more out of the sessions every week. Total credit to you and all the team there and I’m constantly amazed at the amazing level of all the coaches.

Coaches are Amazing!

I just wanted to send some feedback regarding the camp this summer. As you know Cayden attended camp last week at Crescent- he loved the camp a lot and wants to go back!

 That is primarily due to his love of soccer but also largely because your coaches are amazing... his own coach Andrei and Kevin to Tyler who is very engaging with the parents and knows every kid and everything that is going on. Great types of personalities for this age group. Aidan is also great with Cayden and kids in general. I stayed and watched a bit of soccer and noticed that your coaches were engaged with the kids and really into their sessions and a lot of soccer is played which is great. So great to see..

Enjoy the summer and Cayden will be back for sure!

Coach Aidan is very skilled at building rapport and instilling skills without sacrificing great fun

I wanted to provide some feedback on one of your great soccer instructors, Aidan. [He was posted to Felstead this morning].

Ever since we began taking our son James [4yrs] to Power Soccer, he has excelled under Aidan. Although James' love is soccer, this is no easy task as James can be a somewhat shy kid. Once he has connected with someone, he excels.  

We met Aidan for the first time while doing Power Soccer at St. Lawrence Church, I believe as early as Q3/Q4 2017. Aidan is great with the kids - very skilled at building rapport and instilling skills without sacrificing great fun. Very patient, calm, cool and collected -- and a great communicator.

 I've also noticed that Aidan is a great student of coaching. Many times he'll mention he's read up on certain articles, best practices from other academies and so forth. His approach is always evolving, and this is indicative of his passion.

I've noticed this with Aidan for quite some time now, and I wanted to let the management at Power Soccer know that we're very grateful for having the fortune of meeting Aidan. Indeed James has benefited so much from Aidan's attention, care and professionalism.

Really Impressed!

Just wanted to say thank you for running such an awesome summer camp this week at Earlscourt Park!  Both Riley and Dylan had an amazing time.  Riley played a 69 minute game last night and she looked so good on the field; even after camp, plus their team was down a player!  I am really impressed with you and the folks at Power Soccer and I will continue to recommend your programs to others.

Perfect Mix of Skills and Small Team Games

Our kid Braeden has been participating in the soccer program at Curity for the last few seasons and I just wanted to take a second to let you know how much fun he’s having and what a great job all the coaches are doing. It always looks like chaos for the first five minutes but then they have the kids working hard and having a blast. I feel there’s a perfect mix of skills and small team games and our kid is learning not just about soccer but the importance of playing in a team and many other beneficial lessons.

 So, a big thank you to you and all your team, it’s a great program and we’re grateful we get to participate in it.

Undoubtedly his best week ever at Power Soccer

Coaches Matthew, Niamh and Aidan worked with Jayden and allowed him to move between age groups in order to best support his learning and confidence. Jayden had a great week and thrived under their tutelage. This was undoubtedly his best week ever at Power Soccer. Jayden has matured and grown over the past years and I attribute it in part to his participation in the Power Soccer school. It has been the one consistent setting where the group of people in charge were able to look past the behaviour, appreciate the child underneath it all.

As long as Jayden's interest in soccer persists, we will always be back at Power Soccer.

Hi. My son Cole harmer is in camp this week in the under 6 group at Felstead park. Just wanted to let you know that the coaches leading the group, coach Megan, Matt, etc are AMAZING!!. They are working the kids hard and keeping it fun. They are also taking water breaks and watching all the kids to make sure they actually drink the water. Very impressed with their enthusiasm and energy. Cole is learning a lot and having fun. His confidence has improved a ton! Thank you!

Hi there, I have been wanting to do this for a while, but I finally found the time! I am not sure if this is the correct email address to send this feedback to, I sure hope it is. My daughter is 7.5 years old and she is part of the Ajax Rep U8 team. We heard great things about PowerSoccer and the practice that is in Durham is on the same day as her rep team practice. So I decided to sign her up for the practice that is on Saturday at the Eglinton & DVP location. Long story short, the coaches of the u8 class identified Jenine to have more skills than the children at the camp and suggested a different class. So we listened and she moved up to the u10 boys/girls class. Her class was on Saturdays 1:15 with coaches: Marco, Adrian and James. After finishing one season, we have signed her up for another season which started last Saturday at 1:30 again. With so many camps around, we knew we made the right decision after meeting the coaches. I am so thrilled at the level of professionalism, control and enthusiasm they inject into the practices. They keep them interesting and exciting for the kids. I truly enjoy watching them interact with the children and how vocal they are with the instructions. GOOD GOOD JOB on the quality of your coaches. My daughter has evolved as a soccer player and PowerSoccer has provided further tricks for her to use at the games. Our son Liam loves coming to the Power Soccer Academy training sessions and matches. He has told us he wishes he could go every day. You and your wonderful coaches manage to bring out the full ability of the children while still making it a fun experience. All the players get noticeably better every week. The confidence with the ball and skills that they are developing at such an early age is something that has to be seen to be believed. As a parent, it is an absolute joy to watch. The atmosphere is great and the rowdy, irate sidelines don't exist. We intend to skip the entire house league and rep system with our second son and only enroll him in courses with Power. My daughter loves the game. From early days in community House League to a year on a Rep Team, it was apparent to me that this was more than a passing interest. As a parent, I learned that what she needed was a solid foundation of skills and development. The weekly win/lose experience in my daughter's soccer life allowed no time for development as the focus was on winning the game. At the young age of 7, she spent an entire 8 months in one playing position. After spending several weeks in Power Soccer Summer Camp, it was obvious that this was the environment to nuture her love of the game, soccer sense and skills. I decided to enrol her in a continual program of Power Soccer Clinics and she eventually entered the Academy Training Program. There is no doubt that her time with the ball has elevated her game and confidence. The Power Academy coaches bring something new to her game each week and they are commited to her becoming the best player she can be.

Dear Liam, I wanted to thank you for providing the wonderful March break courses that my son Liam attended this week. Liam is fairly new to soccer and has played only one season of outdoor and one season of indoor. He is also still getting used to the idea that it’s o.k. to take the ball away from somebody after five years of saying you shouldn’t. You and every member of your coaching staff did an amazing job with Liam and all the children addressing each of their abilities and weaknesses. This is the 5th year that I have been sending my son Segev to the Power Soccer (summer) camp. Every year after the camp is completed I am impressed in the way that Segev has improved his soccer game. The School of Excellence really taught me how to control the ball with different parts of the body, how to position myself when I don't have the ball, and how to shoot and pass correctly and tons of other skills, all while having fun. Thanks to the School of Excellence I made the rep team. The summer camp is great because it helped me to improve (rather than learn) since I am already a rep player.

My daughter began playing soccer two years ago at Power Soccer Summer Camp. She had never played before, knew nothing of the game, and could not understand why she wasn't allowed to pick up the ball. She continued training with Power Soccer during their Fall and Winter sessions, their Christmas camps, and their March Break camps. The past two years has seen a dramatic improvement in her game, and I attribute this entirely to the quality of the Power Soccer organization. The coaches are exceptionally skilled players and highly knowledgeable of the game of soccer, but, perhaps more importantly, they are always focused on teaching kids how to love the game of soccer, play fair, and have fun. Both of my boys gained skills and confidence that they lacked before attending your sessions. The improvement is obvious! The outdoor season has started and there is a visible improvement in Joey's ability and confidence. Currently, he plays the "sweeper" position on his team.
