January 6th 2021 - COVID-19 UPDATE We are currently waiting confirmatiom from the City of Toronto to confirm 2021 Power Soccer summer camp locations in Toronto*** This camp is for children ages minimum of 6 years old to a max of 13 years old.*** Based on COVID-19 restrictions in summer 2021 the camp may either be half day camps only from 9:00am-12:00pm or we may offer 9:00am-3:30pm full day camps. At the 2020 Power Soccer camps, we did not offer girls only groups due to limitations in class sizes, staffing limitations, etc. If COVID-19 restrictions continue to exists for the summer of 2021 this may be the case again*** As well based on the government restrictions by summer 2021, Parents may not be allowed to be around the field for the camp, parents should preferably drop off and pick up and not interact with the soccer cohort. More information about requirements at the camp surrounding the COVID-19 restrictions will be sent by email in the confirmation email of your registration at camp if you wish to register. *** Also based on restrictions in place for summer 2021, players may have to be separated physically for the majority of the program and into their owned designated areas and not interact with each other as they work on individual skills.
A 10% discount applies to an extra program registration of the same player or a sibling of that player. The program with the highest fee is excluded from the discount when registering for programs with different fees. The discount applies when both players are registered at the same time.
Cancellation Refund/Policy
A refund, less a $50 cancellation fee per camp, is given for cancellations made 30 days or more before the start date of the camp. No refunds are given for cancellations after this time or non attendance at camp.
Power Soccer reserves the right to cancel or alter any programs, times, costs or locations outlined as required, due to low enrolment, change of policy or availability of facilities
Camp Format
Age groups will be seperated into designated areas and will not interact with each other. Sanitization and social distancing protocol will be practiced. Ontario has now moved into Phase 3 and the soccer program can now include 1v1 competition, small sided games and scrimmages as per Provincial Soccer Association guidelines. We will coach individual skills and include Physical Literacy training in the camp program.
Emphasis on individual fakes, moves, tricks, ball coordination, turns and shielding techniques
Skills developed include ball control, passing for possession, support play, positional sense, movement with and without the ball, dribbling and shooting skills
Exercises to develop strength, agility, mobility and flexibility
The Power Soccer method develops confident players with a positive attitude
An opportunity to become active again, have some fun and make new friends

COVID-19 Guidelines
Parents will not be allowed to be on the field and must remain at their cars on the side streets/drop off area or leave the area and return to pick up their child at the end of the clinic.
