8-15 yrs old Skill Development Program (U10, U12, U14, U16)
The skill development program is designed for players to receive specific coaching to develop and refine their skills. The purpose of the program is to maximize the individual's soccer potential, while recognizing that the players come from different soccer backgrounds and will vary in technique and ability. Coaches will evaluate the players consistently from the first session and will challenge players by grouping them with players of similar abilities. Technique training of all the core soccer skills is emphasized. All Power Soccer programs use creative and challenging games to improve ball control, passing, dribbling, defending and shooting. The coach works on having the player improve all the fundamental ball skills while introducing tactical concepts of the game such as of space, support, movement off the ball and transition.
