4-5 yrs old FUNdamentals

A fun and rewarding skills program for children ages 4-5 yrs. Soccer skills training is built into a curriculum that teaches technical ability, agility and balance. Children are introduced to soccer in a fun and rewarding manner which provides recognition for the young player. The clinic is a combination of skill learning and games. There is lots of ball contact for each player through ball movement practice, dodge games and fun ball manoeuvring exercises. Children are taught the basics of the game.

6-7 yrs old Soccer Essentials

A program geared to the 6-7 year stage of development. Children are instructed in core soccer skills and good soccer habits through age appropriate skill exercise and games. The program emphasizes coordination and movement in soccer, presented in skill exercises and small sided soccer games designed to make a positive impact on the development of the young player. Players are introduced to competition in a fun way and achieve success through skill training as well as game play.

8-13 yrs old Skill Development Program (U10, U12, U14, U16)

The skill development program is designed for players to receive specific coaching to develop and refine their skills. The purpose of the program is to maximize the individual's soccer potential, while recognizing that the players come from different soccer backgrounds and will vary in technique and ability. Coaches will evaluate the players consistently from the first session and will group players to challenge them by competing with players of similar abilities. Technique training of all the core soccer skills is emphasized. All Power Soccer programs use creative and challenging games to improve ball control, passing, dribbling, defending and shooting. The coach works on having the player improve all the fundamental ball skills while introducing tactical concepts of the game such as of space, support, movement off the ball and transition.

6-13 yrs old GIRL POWER CLINICS

Power Soccer is offering a High Quality, ALL Girls Clinics for players who have a desire to grow, develop and progress in the game of soccer. The clinics are based on improving players’ technical ability, while gaining key ball mastery skills, and touch on the ball. Players will gain new skills and techniques to help them improve their confidence and technical ability, while learning the basic tactical components of the game.

6-11 yrs old Female Program

High Quality, ALL Girls clinics for players who have a desire to grow, develop and progress in the game of soccer. The clinics are based on improving players’ technical ability, while gaining key ball mastery skills, and touch on the ball. Players will gain new skills and techniques to help them improve their confidence and technical ability, while learning the basic tactical components of the game. ***If there are not enough girls to form a female only group, the girls registered will join the co-ed group.

4-15 yrs old Power Soccer-NYAC Summer Camps

Afternoon Soccer Camp for children coming from the NYAC Morning Swim Camp. Players may arrive for 12:15pm as the Power Soccer camp will be on lunch until 12:45pm. Camp runs until 3:30pm If you would like to add aftercare to your registration, please email logan@powersoccer.ca and confirm you would like to add on either after care from 3:30-4:30pm for $25 + HST for the week or 3:30-5:00pm for $35 + HST for the week.

Our goalkeeper training programs are run by Power Soccer’s top tier goalkeeper coaches. This program is designed for goalkeepers to receive specific coaching to develop and refine their skills. The purpose of this program is to maximize the potential of each youth goalkeeper. Our goalkeeper coaches will focus on shot stopping, reactions saves, footwork agility, handling techniques, positioning, distribution and diving.

At Glendon College we offer girls only group options for the U10 (8-9 year olds) and U12 (10-11 year olds) groups. If there are not enough girls registered in the female group for that particular week the girls registered will join the co-ed group.

14-15 yrs old Senior Camp (U15, U16)

This program is designed for players who play soccer in the U15 and U16 age groups. Players registered for the Senior Camp will be split into two or more groups of different skill levels. Coaches will evaluate all players on Monday morning and split players into groups for the remainder of the week.The Senior Camp works on concepts of space, support and movement off the ball. The Power Soccer program uses creative and challenging games that improve ball control, passing, dribbling, defending and shooting. There is a focus on skill and tactical training for players who play at the Advanced level with their clubs and who wish to hone their skills in an environment with similar level players. Players in this program receive challenging and advanced tactical training in attacking and defensive principles including positional play, support, movement off the ball and transition play. Technique training of all the core soccer skills is covered.
